FAQs
Q: I just purchased a new home, and my builder told me I need to come to you to make my selections, what do I do now?
A: Congratulations on your purchase! This is a very exciting time and we look forward to helping you personalize your home. First you need to contact the specific Interior Designer who works with your builder to make an appointment. See contact page for more information.
Q: What will I be selecting through your store?
A: We will help you select hardwood, carpet, natural stone & quartz, ceramic & porcelain tiles, vinyl & laminate. And should you need blinds after your home is completed we can help with that as well.
Q: What are your hours?
A: Our showroom is open Monday – Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Feel free to come in anytime and start looking, but you must make an appointment to meet with a designer to make selections for your home.
Q: How long should I expect the appointment to last?
A: Depending on the size of your home and the level of detail you desire the appointment could take on average anywhere from one to three hours.
Q: Can I bring other people to my design appointment? A: Of course! Though, we do encourage you to keep your group to 2-4 people to allow for enough space for everyone.
Q: Can I bring children to my appointment? A: While we love little ones we do ask, if possible, to find childcare while in our showroom as we have many heavy displays and samples that can pose a danger to small children. If you do need to bring children we just ask that you please supervise them to avoid injury or disruption to other clients.
Q: I am interested in upgrading some of my floor coverings, when is it necessary for me to make payment?
A: Every builder works slightly differently, please contact your interior designer for details. But as a general rule, we will bill for upgrades prior to ordering products for your home, not the day of your appointment.
Q: We recently moved into our new home and we have noticed a problem with our floor coverings and/or damage, what should I do? A: Contact your builder first. They are the ones that will call us to schedule a service call. If you purchased directly through Elite and not a builder, please call the office and speak to your sales person or designer so we can help schedule any needed repairs or service.
Q: How do I maintain my new floor coverings?
A: Please look at the maintenance page on this web-site, or feel free to give us a call.
